Keeping Shabbat in Mind

I was meditating briefly this morning and had this insight:  Just as Shabbat is intended to be a time for refraining from creating, constructing and intervening in God’s world, meditation is a time to refrain from planning, worrying, deliberating, analysing and other strategies we might have of trying to control the world.
